Ms. Basile graduated from Onondaga College with a degree in dental hygiene.

She has 27 years of experience in the dental hygiene industry and is a member of the Academy of Laser Dentistry and World Clinical Laser Institute. Beginning her practice in upstate New York and practicing in San Diego, CA, Ms. Basile has attained a Northeast Regional Board license in dental hygiene as well a California state license.

She has been using the diode laser in her daily hygiene regimen for the past 13 years in San Diego and has become proficient using multiple lasers such as the epic diode by BIOLASE, Sapphire diode, Picasso diode and Zila diode.

Ms. Basile has completed proficiency for hygienists through Lumenis, ALD and WCLI and has a certification for advanced periodontal soft-tissue diode laser training. She is currently working to attain her fellowship in laser dentistry.

Due to her diverse background and expertise, Ms. Basile has been retained to provide laser diode presentations at industry conferences for various laser manufacturers.

A member of the 1 Source Solutions team, she provides dental hygiene laser certification and training for dental practices. Her dental hygiene laser certification and soft-tissue laser certification courses are PACE-approved for continuing education credits for seminar courses and in-office dental hygiene training. She prides herself on instilling confidence, knowledge of use, production and the newest, leading-edge standard of care to patients.
